PAUL NOONAN

Senior Environmental Advisor

Paul has a honors degree in Chemical Engineering and his 26 years in environmental engineering are split almost equally between on staff environmental specialist and consulting roles. Paul’s career began in the heavy industrial sector where he gained extensive practical experience in large scale industrial waste management, environmental monitoring, community relations, preparation of large EIS, mine waste rehabilitation, contract management, regulator liaison and media liaison. In consulting roles at AGC Woodward Clyde, URS, RCA Australia, Graham A Brown & Associates, and IMEMS Paul has (among numerous roles) worked on and led a number of the largest contaminated site assessment and management projects in the heavily industrialised lower Hunter Valley of NSW. Paul is a logical thinker with a talent for communicating complex concepts and he has worked with all levels of government and the private sector.

Paul offers extensive experience as an environmental advisor including contaminated land investigation and remediation, and a range of environmental management services in the steel and allied industries, the energy, mining and local authority sectors.
